The school football team won the third place at the State level inter school open tournament conducted by Monfort school in Yercaud in which 32 schools from Tamil Nadu had participated.
The team won 7 out of 8 intense matches played beating some of the biggest school teams in Tamil Nadu.
They brought back a cash price of 8000 and trophies which had made the school very proud . The team showed excellent team work, discipline, skills and endurance under the able Captain Kitto .
We will be missing out if we don’t mention the goal keeper Whitto who displayed his excellent goal keeping skills by saving many goals during the penalty shoot outs and the game to bring victory to the team .
